Honda Fit-Based City Sedan Gets the Mugen Treatment
We've seen the new Fit in Mugen trim, and we've seen the Vezel crossover that shares its platform in Mugen trim too. But those aren't the only vehicles Honda is selling around the world based on that platform. Now the third has popped up with the Mugen treatment, too.

That vehicle, of course, is the Honda City, a sedan version made in India for sale in south and southeast Asia. The tiny sedan could make it Stateside as part of the new Fit lineup to be made in Mexico, and if it does, we hope we get some of the parts shown here.

What we're looking at, in fact, is not simply a City kitted out from the Mugen parts catalog, but a special edition made for the Philippines. It's based on the 1.5 EL AT trim, so it only packs a 1.5-liter four with 120 horsepower and a five-speed automatic transmission. But Honda's Filipino subsidiary has fitted it with a full aero kit and white paintjob to at least make it look the part, and will only build 20 of them.
