Honda launched the 2017 Honda Fit (Honda Jazz) in Japan last month. A day after the release of the facelifted Honda Fit, the company introduced the 'Honda Fit Cross Style' in the country.

The Cross Style is a Honda Fit with accessories that give it a crossover styling. For the exterior, buyers can get the Cross Style look with front and rear lower bumper garnish, tailgate decal, body side moulding, wheel arch cladding, dark grey side sill garnish and 15-inch Modulo (MG-020) wheels. All accessories except the Modulo wheels are available in the Cross Style package which costs JPY 1,38,240 (Rs 42 200). Like the Modulo alloy wheels, they are available individually as well.

The 2017 Honda Fit is available in 1.3L i-VTEC petrol, 1.5L i-VTEC petrol and 1.5L i-VTEC+i-DCD petrol-electric hybrid models. The 1.3-litre engine produces 73 kW (100 PS) and 119 Nm of torque, while the 1.5-litre engine produces 97 kW (132 PS) and 155 Nm of torque. The hybrid model's 1.5-litre engine delivers 81 kW (110 PS), and 134 Nm of torque and i-DCD electric motor generates 22 kW (29.5 PS) and 160 Nm of torque.

LED headlights, LED fog lights, 16-inch alloy wheels, LED tail lights, tailgate spoiler, leather-wrapped steering wheel, driver and passenger seats with seat heater, infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and Honda Sensing are the equipment highlights of the 2017 Honda Fit.

The Honda Sensing package includes advanced safety and driver assistance features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Mitigation Braking System, Lane Keeping Assist System, Lane Departure Warning, Road Departure Warning and Road Departure Mitigation and Traffic Signal Detection.

Honda has not announced the Cross Style package for markets outside Japan.
