Hyundai Genesis Transformed into 550-HP BMW M5 Killer
ARK Performance has revealed its latest SEMA offering.

SEMA 2014 will soon be upon us, and US tuning specialist ARK Performance is one of the first to reveal what it has planned for the Las Vegas extravaganza. Based on a Hyundai Genesis, the AR550 is the Korean carmaker’s answer to the BMW M5 and Mercedes E63 AMG, with its 5.0-liter V8 boosted by 130 hp to deliver 550 horses courtesy of a Rotrex supercharger and an ARK GRiP free-flow exhaust as well as other upgrades including a performance intake system and remapped ECU.

Chassis mods include a front strut reinforcement bar, stiffened sway bars, Brembo big brakes and forged alloys, while cosmetic upgrades include an aerodynamics package by Infinite Auto Design, wide carbon-fiber bumpers and side skirts, wide fenders to house the massive wheels and a rear trunk decklid. Inside, Katzkin custom diamond stitched seats and panels help create a “business jet-like interior.”
