Hyundai Hijacks Times Square - Again
Hyundai's latest promotional effort in Times Square features live images of people in Hyundai vehicles.

The interactive billboard — dubbed "Live Image Show" — displays an image of people in Hyundais traveling through an animated version of New York.

This is Hyundai's second project in one of the world's busiest intersections. It was unveiled on Wednesday.

"Hyundai connected cameras to its main outdoor billboard at Two Times Square, so people can capture images of themselves and have them projected live on Hyundai's billboard," the Korean automaker said in a statement. "Unlike previous wide-angle shots that capture random people, Hyundai's cameras zoom in on a handful of people."

It added: "We wanted to create a special moment for our customers at this special venue."

Hyundai last year debuted the "Hyundai Race" in Times Square, where people could connect their smartphones to the billboard and play a racing game live.

Times Square is one of the world's most-visited tourist attractions. Hyundai called it "one of the most coveted advertising spots in the world."
