Thanks to the presence of steel wheels, we can confirm that the special edition is not based on the top-end SX(O) model, but probably on the S grade. The exterior sees a chrome-highlighted grille, side body graphics, a bootlip spoiler and a badge commemorating Hyundai’s 20-year presence.
On the inside, the Xcent special edition is equipped with a touchscreen entertainment system by Blaupunkt. The system is expected to support navigation and DVD playback too.
The special edition Hyundai Xcent is expected to be offered with the 1.2-liter four-cylinder Kappa Dual VTVT petrol engine and the 1.1-liter three-cylinder U2 CRDi diesel engine, paired to 5-speed manual gearbox. The petrol engine develops 83 PS and 113.7 Nm of torque, and claims 19.1 km/l whereas the diesel variant is good for 72 PS and 180.4 Nm of torque, and delivers 24.4 km/l.
