The Suzuki Alto Celebration is powered by a 1-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine that makes 68 hp at 6,000 rpm and 90 Nm of torque at 3,400 rpm. A 5-speed manual is standard but the car can be specced with a 4-speed automatic too.
It comes with safety features like ABS, EBD and Brake Assist. ESP and front, side, and curtain airbags are standard on the version. The feature list includes a radio, CD, and MP3 player, remote-controlled central locking, power windows, air-conditioning, and 14-inch alloys.
The Alto’s/A-Star’s successor, the Celerio, is already on sale in markets like India, Thailand and even the U.K. For European markets, the Celerio is exported from Suzuki’s Thai plant.
