In addition, he outlined the major improvements in terms of revenue: from Rs 600 million in the initial stages of operation to a current whopping turnover of Rs 7 billion. The Mauritius Ports Authority was also highly praised by the Managing Director who acknowledged them as the pillar behind the successful growth of the company.
Rajiv Servansingh expressed his great admiration for Mauritius and the enormous opportunities it offers. He stated that IndianOil Mauritius Ltd targets to increase its market share and compete with the biggest multinationals in the country. “To achieve our objectives we will continue to bring the best service to our existing customers in order to attract more and also add to our existing filling stations across the country.
Furthermore we will review and enhance our internal organisation in terms of human resources, renumeration packages, governance so that from now on IndianOil Mauritius Ltd is recognised as one if not the biggest multinational in the country.”
The company paid tribute to long serving employees. An award was also presented to Pandoo Koushal, 13 years old, for excelling in ethical and cultural values at MGSS Moka.
A trophy as well as a grant of Rs 2,000 was awarded to the talented student. The Chairman and directors of IndianOil Mauritius Ltd also extended their good wishes through a video recording to all stakeholders and employees of IOML.and water infrastructures around the world.
