Modified by ADM Design (the design division of PT Astra Diahatsu Motor), the show car sports a chrome grille, projector headlights, LED daytime running lights instead of the default foglamps, 19-inch alloy wheels with a glossy finish, a full body kit and a new rear bumper with auxiliary stop lamps pushed to the corners.
Hop into the cabin, and the Daihatsu Xenia Scarlet feels (or is meant to feel) luxurious with black faux-wood accents on the door trim, beige leather seats, an LCD touchscreen and a multifunction steering wheel.
The Daihatsu Xenia Scarlet sadly has no extra oomph under the bonnet. You get the same 86hp 1.5-liter petrol engine.
Daihatsu have not announced prices or commented on the production prospects of this car, but it is being reported that the response from the visitors would be studied for further decisions.
