Japanese pick-ups at short prices
Chinese automobile firm Changfeng Motors is promoting its pick-ups equipped with Japanese technology and the proven Japanese engines. With its traditional appearance, the vehicle inspires a sense of elegance and great flexibility with a classic interior. The diesel version of the model is being sold at a promotional price of Rs 490,000. The Turbo model is currently priced at Rs 545,000.

Changfeng Motors is located at Anhui near Shanghai and is represented by Eco Green Motors in Mauritius. It is recognised as a worldwide brand which uses Japanese world-class technology. The brand is among the best-selling pick- up brands in China.

The group has the third largest automobile production base in China and has merged with GAC Guangzhou Autos Corporation to build its reputation as a global company.

Changfeng Motors was formed in the 1970s. The company has increased its production capacity from 633 units in 1996 to 100,000 units by 2006.

Alain Roussel, sales manager at Eco Green Motors at Grand River North West, said, “The flagship of the range is not only the diesel but the petrol version JM491Q-ME Japanese technology engine. Aficionados can look forward to having a nice 2.2-litre five door pick- up at Rs 485,000.”
