Koenigsegg One:1 Boasts One Horsepower Per Kilogram, is Headed to China
Koenigsegg the car company appears to be on a streak in China right now, and its namesake founder is riding the lightning with the car you see above, the Koenigsegg One:1.

Scanned from a brochure for the coupe, the name is a reference to its power output of one horsepower per kilogram. It's weight isn't known, but Cars UK says it's lighter than the Agera R and so probably in the area of 1,250 to 1,350 kilograms, and hence, hp.

Koenigsegg the owner is apparently making the rounds of Asia and the Middle East to secure orders for the five One:1 models that will be produced. Cost is in the $2-million estimated, which puts the One:1 in the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport ballpark, yet with acceleration that just might beat it. We'll probably never see it outside of scans and customs catastrophes, but it's good to see the Swedish speed merchant continually raising his game.
