The companies have been working together since 1963. As a celebration of the longtime collaboration between Lamborghini and Pirelli tires, the Italian supercar builder has just revealed the exclusive series Aventador LP700-4 Pirelli Edition.

Available in both coupe and roadster versions, the Aventador Pirelli Edition is now available to order and will arrive in dealerships next summer. What hasn’t changed is the big bull’s V12 engine, carbon fiber monocoque, pushrod suspensions and permanent all-wheel drive.

What’s unique here is the exterior which now sports a two-tone color scheme in two options. The first is matte black for the roof, pillars, review mirrors, engine hood and the front, rear side and moving air intakes. This is in contrast with six glossy finishes for the rest of the body. The second option is glossy black for the upper parts of the car and air intakes, in contrast with four matte finishes for the rest of the exterior. Also note the Pirelli-inspired thin red stripe along the roof and engine hood, review mirrors and outer profiles of the air intakes. The Pirelli logo is visible at the start of the two roof lines and on the tires. Step inside and the interior is upholstered with black Alcantara with red contrast stitching.

The red stripe theme continues here as well, running along the ceiling and seats. The latter features both the Lamborghini and Pirelli logos. Pirelli began working with Lamborghini back in 1963, the year in which the former was founded. Official pricing wasn’t announced and it’s fair to assume this limited edition Aventador will be available in multiple markets.
