Meet Apocalypse Knightmare, Allegedly the World's First Ford Bronco Raptor 6x6
Apocalypse 6x6 has recently introduced a new outrageously cool idea to ride alongside the Hellfire, Sinister 6, Doomsday, Warlord, Juggernaut, Razorback, Nirvana, Super Truck, and Darkhorse models – Knightmare!

When you think about an apocalypse, doomsday visions usually come to mind with scary images of world-ending events. Well, no worries, the automotive industry doesn't want to see anyone's demise – every human being, from toddlers to centennials, is a potential customer.

However, there is one American company that plays the trope of a vehicular apocalypse to make sure its products stand out in any crowd. That's Apocalypse Manufacturing, based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, which has made a name for itself with crazy 6x6 conversions.

Everything started with classic Jeep Gladiator 'minions' – Hellfire, Doomsday, or Sinister 6 can be had from as 'low' as $155k with a turbo diesel engine, the beloved Hemi 392 mill, or a crazy Hellcat conversion rocking 750 horsepower. Soon enough, the company went beyond the classic 'Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse' trop because it quickly moved past the introduction of the $220k Warlord – a Ram 1500 TRX 6x6 fitted with 850 angry ponies.

They were followed by models with equally descriptive names like Juggernaut, Super Truck 4x4, Razorback, or Darkhorse. Interestingly, before the Nirvana build arrived as the first EV-based conversion of the Rivian R1T, the Darkhorse was the only representative outside the Mopar realm. As the name suggests, it had to do with the newly reinvented sixth generation Ford Bronco SUV, making it one of the few – if not the only – 6x6 conversions of this particular Blue Oval 'stallion.'

Interestingly, maybe some folks think that such a 6x6 beast isn't a showstopper everywhere. In our book, that's preposterous, especially considering the amount of R&D work done to convert an SUV to a 6x6 pickup truck style instead of taking a regular pickup and extending it to accommodate the extra pair of wheels. Anyway, if you want your Ford Bronco 6x6 to be even more outrageous than an Apocalypse Darkhorse, now there's a fresh solution – the world's first-ever Ford Bronco Raptor 6x6, according to the company.

So, meet the Apocalypse Knightmare. According to the aftermarket outlet, the Ford Bronco Raptor "is one of the most coveted 4x4s out there. It's fast, aggressive, and has got signature looks. However, it was missing one thing – six-wheel drive! This monster can now conquer any terrain; it is impossible to be stopped or get stuck, and with a pickup bed, you now have the payload capability to get the job done. It's not just built Ford tough; it's built Apocalypse ready."

Unfortunately, the company stopped short of presenting any additional images of the saddle-brown-like interior and also didn't care much for technical details. So we don't know if the adaptation, most likely based on their prior Darkhorse work, also features any upgrades under the hood. Hopefully, it does, because 418 horsepower suddenly seems one pony too few when trying to move such a 6x6 behemoth – even if it looks a bit like pistachio ice cream! Or was that a small freshwater duck that was supposed to remind me of with this outrageous exterior combination between a teal body and bronze wheels?
