The Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet Will Debut in Geneva
Mercedes-Benz will show a number of new convertibles at this year's Geneva Motor Show – some we've seen, and one we haven't. Teased here, the new C-Class Cabriolet will make its global debut at the Swiss expo, joined by the SL and SLC roadsters that debuted in Los Angeles and Detroit, as well as the big-daddy Mercedes-AMG S65 Cabriolet.

We expect this to be a really pretty droptop, if the design of the C-Class Coupe is anything to go on. For the convertible, Mercedes is tipped to use a folding fabric roof rather than a hardtop (like the BMW 4 Series), and it looks like the canvas top will neatly stow underneath a body panel behind the passenger compartment.

At launch, Mercedes will likely offer the cabriolet in C300 guise, powered by the company's 2.0-liter turbo-four. But we also hear some hotter versions are in the works – look for Mercedes-AMG C43 (formerly C450 AMG Sport) and C63 models to follow. We'll have the full details in early March at the Geneva show.
