Mercedes G-Wagen Blows By Ford Fiesta ST

Anyone who drives a lot of performance cars knows what it's like to be passed by a more plebeian vehicle. Say, a lead-footed Toyota Camry driver with no regard for the flashing lights of justice. Or safety, for that matter.

These Czech guys know that pain, but not because they were passed by a rusty Skoda. No, they were passed, while traveling at 100 km/h per hour, by a new Mercedes-Benz G550. "Well yeah, the G-Wagen is big, heavy, and boxy, but it's also got a 416-horsepower, 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 under the hood," you're saying. "No shame in being passed by that, right?"

Well, not exactly. Because as you're about to see in the video, the G-Wagen doesn't just pass what we're thinking is a Ford Fiesta ST – it's a three-door body with Molten Orange paint – it leaves it in the dust. And it does it all while traveling off road. Yes, this G-Wagen blows the doors off this hot hatchback without even setting a wheel on pavement. This is what being humbled looks like.
