Mini Drives Officials Up the Wall
Mini Coopers aren't the sort of car that conservative types gravitate to, so its ironic that a store in Houston, Texas has turned one into a wall-flower...literally.

Internum, a design and interiors store, has received a red tag from the city of Houston, for having a Mini Cooper’s been mounted on the front wall since 18 December 2012.

The City of Houston violation reads:  “Remove car from building front, barricade sidewalks at front — do this immediately.”

'Unpermitted work'

The sticker says that this is the second violation for “unpermitted work” issued to Internum since the Mini was mounted to the wall.

The violation is dated December 27 2012 but as of January 8 2013, car’s is still hanging in there.

It’s not clear whether the orange construction barrels and reflective signs placed on the sidewalks will count as barricades in the eyes of city inspectors.
