Most Badass Side-by-Side Out There Goes to War in Season 1 of Call of Duty: Warzone
A couple of weeks ago we learned that Polaris will be selling the most recent incarnation of the RZR Pro R for the price of a muscle car. For $49,999, four passengers can enjoy off-roading the likes of which not many vehicles out there offer, but also a very solid overall package.

Polaris is quite good at selling its side-by-sides, but any new product needs all the exposure it can get if it is to turn into a commercial hit. So, in an attempt to publicize the new RZR Pro R some more, the company that makes it decided to send it to war. OK, not real war, but the virtual kind that makes people want to try some of the things they experience there in real life.

So, if you're planning on playing Season 1 of Call of Duty: Warzone anytime soon, expect to see – and plan to test – the RZR Pro R on the battlefield.

As per Polaris, the in-game vehicle has been designed by its industrial design team and CoD's dev team to make sure "that the design and feel of the virtual vehicle is as accurate and close to reality as possible."

What does that mean? Well, expect to experience, virtually, the power of the 2.0-liter ProStar Fury naturally aspirated four-cylinder (that would be 225 hp), the effects of the MaxLink suspension system when rushing over rough terrain, and the comfort of the heated and vented seats.

Polaris is not just launching the side-by-side in the game and calling it a day. To mark the moment, a series of giveaways have been prepared for the next few weeks together with radio control vehicles specialist Losi and PC component company Corsair.

The prizes include Losi RZR Rey RC cars, SCUF game controllers, the Elgato streaming equipment, Origin gaming PCs, and the PC gaming BattleStation. The grand prize of this campaign is, however, a real-life Polaris RZR Pro R that will be tweaked in the style of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 game.

To register for the giveaways you'll have to follow this link and the instructions provided there. The sweepstakes opened on Monday, November 18, and will run until December 16.

This is the second time Polaris has partnered with Call of Duty over the past couple of years. The Polaris RZR Pro R was first included in Season 04 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, but also in Call of Duty: Warzone.

The franchise has become a sort of magnet for automotive companies, who rush at the chance of having their vehicles used for virtual combat. At the end of October, for instance, British bike maker Triumph announced the arrival of the TF 250-X in the same season 1 of Call of Duty: Warzone.
