Mystery Sedan Concept from Suzuki Headed to 2013 Shanghai Motor Show
Responsejp.com reports that Suzuki is all set to unveil a concept sedan at the 2013 Shanghai Auto Expo.

From the images, it seems to be a very sporty design with sexy rear fascia. There are very few details available about this new concept car.

We are aware that this is a C-segment sedan with a long wheel base and reduced height specifically designed for the Chinese market. It has a very sporty and elegant design with strong character lines flowing through the body.

The concept might transform into an all-new sedan for the Chinese market. After all, the C segment sedan category accounts for most volumes in the China.

The second possibility is that it could be a replacement to the SX4 sedan. Suzuki recently showcased the S-Cross Crossover at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The S-Cross is a successor to the SX4 crossover – a pseudo off roader version of the SX4 hatchback. The SX4 sedan sold in the Indian market is essentially a ‘booted’ version of the SX4 hatchback sold in European market.

Looking at the popularity of the SX4 sedan, Suzuki might be tempted on developing an all-new SX4 sedan replacement grounds up. It could be developed for emerging markets such as India and China where the sedan market is still thriving well.
