This New "Fate Of The Furious" Trailer Shows A Cuban Street Race
Remember how the franchise used to be about street racing? This trailer brings back memories.

The Fate of the Furious is one of our most anticipated car movies of the year, in what will be an entertaining romp of fast cars, spectacular stunts and cringe-worthy dialogue for two hours. Recent trailers have shown that the series is sticking to the action movie direction that will satisfy your appetite for destruction. Just to remind you that the series originated as a street racing movie, there's usually at least one obligatory race scene in the more recent Fast and Furious movies amid all the carnage and testosterone.

A new international trailer for The Fate of the Furious confirms that a street race will take place in Cuba. It's an ideal backdrop for The Fate of the Furious as it's cemented in car culture, where vintage rides roam the streets at every corner.

We get to see a 1956 Ford Customline battle it out against a hot rod in the trailer, but because this is a Fast and Furious film the hot rod gets destroyed in an over the top crash that sends it flipping into the air and exploding. While we still don't learn why lead character Dom played by Vin Diesel betrays his crew under orders from newcomer Cipher played by Charlize Theron, new scenes reveal that Dom was in Cuba with his wife Letty on their honeymoon when Cipher seduced him into a life of crime. The Fate of the Furious smashes into theatres on April 14th. You may want to bring a cushion though, as rumor has it that it will be two hours and forty minutes long - sometimes you can have too much of a good thing.
