New Isuzu MU-X spied in Thailand, to be launched in March
The Isuzu MU-X was launched in Thailand in October 2013. In 2017, it received some mid-cycle action, which brought a few visual upgrades for the exterior and interior along with a new touchscreen infotainment unit.

Headlightmag now reports that the SUV is slated to get another facelift, in March 2019. In sync with this, a camouflaged version of the updated model was even snapped recently,

The 2019 Isuzu MU-X will be available in new red exterior colour, with a new set of dual-tone machined alloy wheels, an updated bumper and six airbags. Details on the interior updates are scarce at the moment, but the SUV could receive the trim and upholstery revisions that have debuted in the Chinese-spec model.

Specifications will remain completely unchanged. In Thailand, the Isuzu MU-X is available with two engine options - RZ4E-TC 1.9-litre four-cylinder diesel and 4JJ1-TCS 3.0-litre four-cylinder diesel. The former outputs a maximum power of 110 kW (150 PS) and a peak torque of 350 Nm, while the latter outputs 130 kW (177 PS) and 380 Nm. The former is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission, while the latter is available with only the AT. A 4WD system is available, but only on selecting the bigger engine.

In comparison, the Indian-spec Isuzu MU-X, which received its first facelift in October 2018, is available only with the 3.0-litre four-cylinder engine. This motor comes mated to a five-speed automatic transmission, while a shift-on-fly 4WD system is available as an option It competes with the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour and Mahindra Alturas G4.
