Triumph Motorcycles has released a teaser video of the next generation Triumph Bonneville which is set for its global premiere on October 28.

Reports claim that the key feature of the 2016 Bonneville is a new, liquid-cooled engine. The British motorcycle manufacturer has not revealed any information about a new powertrain, but the teaser video (embedded below) mentions that “something big” is on the horizon.

The 2016 Triumph Bonneville could indeed be featuring a new engine to comply with the stricter emission standards under the Euro 4 norms. The current version of the classic motorcycle is powered by an 865 cc parallel-twin engine that churns out 61 PS of maximum power and 61 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. All three variants – Bonneville, Bonneville T100 and Thruxton – share the same powertrain.

The teaser video shows three silhouettes of the next generation Bonneville, which indicates that all the three versions of the 2016 model – a bobber version, a cafe racer, and a T100 replacement, could be unveiled simultaneously.
