Nissan Introduces Juke N-Tec
A new design package and a host of in-car tech is expected to help the new N-Tec trim become the best-selling Juke in the UK.

Nissan has added a new trim level for its Juke crossover in the UK dubbed the N-Tec that comes with more gadgets and new design features and is available across all engine and transmission combinations. Based on the Acenta Premium model, the Juke N-Tec boasts new 18" two-tone alloys, gloss-black B-pillars and door mirrors, and black bezels for the hood light strips. Interior changes include a gloss black center console and door trim finishers.

With the 1.6-liter DIG-T engine, the N-Tec model comes with a black interior headliner and dual exit exhauster finisher. While the styling changes distinguish the N-Tec from other trim levels, it’s the new in-car tech that Nissan expects will make this trim the best-selling model in the Juke line-up. At the heart is the new-gen Nissan Connect system. Controlled by a 5.8-inch color touchscreen display, the system integrates the Juke’s satellite navigation with Bluetooth technology as well as Google Send-To-Car tech, which allows drivers to map out their route and send it to the car before leaving home.

Other innovative new features include an economy readout that scores drivers according to how economically they’re driving, and a new “exit view” display with lane guidance. The Juke N-Tec also features the Nissan Dynamic Control System that enables drivers to select preferred driving modes via the central touchscreen, coupled with standard equipment including a color reversing camera and automatic climate control. Prices for the Juke N-Tec range from £16,295 for the 1.6 manual to £20,000 for the 1.6-liter DIG-T 4WD.
