Nissan Wants to Expand Nismo Range to Other Models Including the New Maxima
Oh please make this one happen. Following the reveal of the Nissan 370Z Nismo Roadster Concept at this year’s Chicago Auto Show, the Japanese automaker is apparently anxious to expand its high-performance lineup.

Within the next year or two, that 370Z Nismo Roadster will more than likely enter production along with the coupe, but it won’t stop there. We’re now hearing that in addition to the 370Z, Nissan is serious about adding a Sentra Nismo to the lineup which, according to a company exec, "has a sports heritage."

Furthermore, he added that Nissan is "looking at the entire range…anything is possible." Questioned a bit further, the exec also hinted that the not yet fully revealed 2016 Maxima could spawn a Nismo edition. "Nismo is the ultimate expression of the brand," Nissan product planning chief Pierre Loing declared. "The Nismo name is not to be taken lightly." Sounds good but let’s talk actions and not words. If a Maxima Nismo is in the works, all we ask is that’ll be done right. A body kit and Nismo badges alone won’t cut it.
