Pagani Huayra Explores Italian Countryside and Looks Amazing in the Process
Since Evo first got its hands on a Pagani Huayra for testing, about a year after the hypercar debuted, Horacio Pagani's pride and joy has made a few video appearances – once in the hands of Chris Harris and once with a man who compared his new Huayra with an older Zonda on track.

But access to the 900,000-euro ($1.22 million) hypercar has been limited, making XCar's recent drive a real treat.

The shape is beautifully simple, with active aerodynamics combining function with form that remind us more than a bit of the flaps or ailerons on the wings of a jet. While the twin-turbocharged Mercedes-AMG V12 roars from the titanium exhaust system, the wheezing and wooshing turbo wastegate noises also remind us of a jet - either that or Darth Vader having a temper tantrum. Head on below to watch XCar drive the Huayra on some twisty Italian roads.
