Permit Auto-Schools: Examinations Now Conducted by MES?
Aspiring instructors driving schools are not evaluated by the police officer. At least by the next review. The exercise will, this time led by the Mauritius Examination Syndicate .
Does this mean that this will be the case now? "Les autorités nous ont demandé de conduire le prochain examen pour les aspirants au permis d’instructeur d’auto-école" explains Lucien Finette, director of MES. It does not however confirm that the MES will conduct these examinations permanently.
The director says, however, that "everything will be done transparently. We will ensure that the examination is conducted in a serious and fair manner."
