After debuting back at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, Peugeot is returning to Switzerland with a refreshed version of its compact 208 hatchback. A restyled front fascia and the inclusion of a new GT Line are the big news items for this tiny five-door.

That new grille, we're told, is meant to make the hatchback appear wider. We aren't sure about that, but the tasteful black and chrome finish on the Geneva show adds just enough bright work to make the front of the 208 stand out from the crowd. Peugeot has finished the headlight housings in black, which along with the broad lower grille, ties the look of the entire front end together. In back, Peugeot added LED taillights with its so-called "claws" design.

In the cabin, Peugeot has updated the 208's cabin with nicer materials, finishing the wheel in full-grain leather regardless of trim level. On the tech front, Active City Brake and a rear-view camera add a dose of safety to this tiny, French package.
