Peugeot Now Designs Helicopters for Airbus
Airbus has just revealed the new H160 helicopter, an evolution of the Dauphin medium utility helicopter styled by Peugeot Design Lab. The airframe is all-composite, with a biplane stabilizer, canter tail rotor, and Blue Edge rotor blades.

This isn't the first time Peugeot's design consultancy has dipped its toes in the aerospace industry. Most notably, the company has applied its talents to work for Dassault Aviation and Bombardier.

Peugeot isn't the first automaker design firm that has worked with aviation companies in this role. Mercedes-Benz Style has outfitted the interior of a Eurocopter and partnered with Lufthansa on private jet cabins. The tuner Brabus and rival BMW Designworks have done similar design work in the past. Honda even builds its own private jet, the HondaJet.
