A minimum fine of Rs 1000 is provided for the owners of vehicles that emit dark smoke. The Ministry of Environment is currently working on new regulations for the maximum fine is at least Rs 10,000. But for now, no decision has yet been taken in this regard. Regarding noisy motorcycles, a fine not exceeding Rs 10,000 is provided for this purpose.
