Presenting the Top Gear: Patagonia Special Trailer - Sans Lynch Mob
Jeremy Clarkson offending people? Never heard of such a thing. The Top Gear hosts and their production crew ran into a problem while filming their upcoming Patagonia Christmas Special last October.

Clarkson, Hammond, and May managed to piss off some Argentinians and even the military. They were then forced to flee the South American country in a hurry. Lynch mobs will make anyone flee. It was all because of Clarkson’s license plate, which read "H982 FKL," and interpreted as a reference to the 1982 Falklands War between Argentina and the UK. Argentina lost and some hostility still remains.

The Top Gear people fled for fear of their safety, and possibly their lives as they claimed. Left behind were their cars (which they now want back): a Porsche 928, Lotus Esprit, and a Ford Mustang. We’ll find out the whole skinny when this year’s Christmas special premieres on December 27th on BBC2. Here’s the brief (violence free) trailer.
