The leaked teaser image despite being blurry points out one thing clear, that Honda has retained the sharp design of Lightweight Supersports Concept in its production version.
The Honda CBR250RR is said to sport a 37 hp 250 cc liquid-cooled two-cylinder engine married to a 6-speed transmission. There’s also speak of Ride-by-Wire system, suggesting Honda may offer some advanced features like cruise control or multiple driving modes. LED headlamps, LED taillamps, an upside-down fork, clip-on handlebars, monoshock rear suspension, front and rear disc brakes with ABS and a fully digital instrument-panel are some of the key expected features of the new lightweight sportsbike.
The Honda CBR250RR will rival the Yamaha R25 and Kawasaki Ninja 250 primarily. It will be launched in Indonesia in October 2016, according to reports.
