The 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat came up against a Nismo-tuned Nissan GT-R on the track and both cars were stock. This is the first Nismo GT-R in the US, while the Hellcat was riding on Nitto 555Rs. As you’ll see the quarter-mile sprint was very close, with the Hellcat pipping the GTR to the 200m point.
And by the time the 400m line rolled around, the Hellcat had maintained its lead, with a time of 11.187 seconds at 200.33 km/h. The GT-R was a fraction behind with a time of 11.277 seconds at 200.15 km/h. So, can everyone start calling the 707-hp Hellcat a supercar now, please?
