Built in the UK, the vehicle will feature a new front fascia that falls more in line with the rest of the Toyota clan. Likewise, the automaker says that the sedan's interior has also received a quick once-over and that we can expect to hear word on new drivetrain options as well. At the moment, Toyota is being tight-lipped about what exactly that will mean for price, fuel economy and power.
In addition to the Avensis, visitors to the Frankfurt Motor Show can get their first glimpse at the 2012 Hilux as well as a three-door Yaris variant. Toyota will also be bringing along the entire Prius family, including the Prius Plug-In and Prius+.
