Based on the highly flexible CMF-A platform. According to Motoroids, the technical specification of the upcoming Renault Kwid has leaked, which reveals that the sub-4m pseudo-crossover is capable of achieving 25 km/L (4 L/100 km).

If the report is to be believed, then the Renault Kwid will have the best-in-class fuel mileage, beating rivals like the Maruti Alto 800 (21.38 km/L), and Hyundai Eon (21.1 km/L). The Renault Kwid is powered by an all new 800 cc three cylinder engine that produces 57 bhp and 74 Nm of torque, also making it more powerful than its rivals.

The Renault Kwid features a rugged, new design that looks appealing to customers looking for an entry-level crossover. It measures 3.68 meters long, 1.58 meters wide, and has a ground clearance of 180 mm. Entry-level variants will get black-pastic bumpers and steel wheels, while the top-of-the-line variant has chrome appliqués, alloy wheels, and roof rails.

Inside, it comes with a segment-first 7 inch Renault MEDIANAV 7-inch touchscreen display, USB and AUX ports, digital instrument cluster and power windows at the front. The boot space is 300 liters, which is another best-in-class figure.
