Rodrigues, Road Accident: One Killed, Ten Injured

One dead and several wounded, including two serious. This is the result of a serious road accident in Rodrigues. The tragedy occurred shortly before 11:00 on Sunday 12 January at Contour Oblast, in the hills above Port-Mathurin, on the road connecting this town to Mont-Lubin.

Indeed the chaufffeur a bus lost control of his vehicle which contained ten passengers including Mauritius on holiday on the island.

The bus driver said the brakes of his vehicle no longer met while en route to Port Mathurin. "I'' still had my brakes up to Solitude," he recounts, still in shock after the accident.

The bus passengers for their part, were less fortunate. A sexagenarian succumbed to his injuries and two other passengers were in serious condition in hospital Heart-breaker.
