Rose-Hill's New Mayor Announced the Construction of New Bus Station
The mayor of Beau-Bassin/Rose-Hill plans to build a new bus station at Rose Hill. Land has already been identified for this purpose. It is located behind the building of the Central Electricity Board (CEB) of Rose Hill. The announcement was made Friday by the mayor of the city-sisters, Andre Toussaint.

The construction of the new station aims to decongest the city center of Rose Hill. According to André Toussaint, motorists exiting Vandermeersch are often caught in traffic.

The new station, it is worth noting, is intended only for the individual bus carrying passengers from the eastern regions (Flacq, St-Pierre, New Outfitters, Bel-Air, Hope, Vuillemin). So that the existing station, namely Margéot Place will still operational. It will be reserved for buses serving the route Rose Hill Port-Louis and buses that transit Rose Hill before joining the high-Plaines Wilhems.
