Royal Enfield Classic 500 Green Fly revealed
Commissioned by Royal Enfield Spain is this custom bike created by Jesus de Juan. The project idea is traced back to the Mo’Powa and Dirty Duck showcased at Wheels and Waves, France, in 2016.

The customised motorcycle is based on the Royal Enfield Classic 500 and uses the frame of a Royal Enfield Continental GT. This however was easier said than done as fitting the Classic in the frame of the Continental GT required the upper tubes to be modified. Continental GT's frame is also more robust than the Classic 350 and is easier to work on.

The rear section of the Green Fly is very different from the stock motorcycle. The dual springs have been replaced by a mono shock which is positioned slightly towards the left. The front gets upside down forks. The end of the seat almost coincides with the beginning of the rear wheel.

Tyres are new and knobby giving the Green Fly an off-road look. Specification include a 140 section up front and a 150 section in the rear. Brakes in the rear are the same as the Royal Enfield Continental GT but the front gets a petal disc.

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 Green Fly is not road legal yet.
