Nepal: Royal Enfield Continental GT
The Royal Enfield Continental GT has been showcased at the 2017 NADA Auto Show in Nepal. Dugar Brother’s and Sons is the authorised distributor of the brand.

The Continental GT was launched in the country in February 2014. The bike showcased at the show is the GT Green colour. It features a beige seat cover and a green paint job.

Powering the motorcycle is a single cylinder 535cc unit with fuel injection. It churns out a maximum power of 29.1 bhp at 5,100 rpm and 44 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm. The powerplant works in tandem with a 5-speed constant mesh transmission.

Royal Enfield has endowed the bike with top-spec cycle parts like Pirelli Sport Demon tyres (100-section front and 130-section rear); Twin Paioli gas charge shock absorbers at the rear, and 300 mm Brembo disc brake at the front. The front end uses 41 mm telescopic fork, while the rear brake uses a 240 mm disc.

The Continental GT weighs 184 kg (kerb) and is the lightest and fastest Royal Enfield currently in production. A 750cc twin cylinder Royal Enfield is in the works and will be launched in India by the end of this year.
