Shell Acquires Petrol Tanker
Shell Mauritius Limited has acquired a new barge of 850 tonnes to ferry petrol to Mauritius.

Speaking to The Independent, Kiran Juwaheer, CEO, Shell said, “The vessel has already set sail from Europe and can be expected in our harbour around December 20.” The company also published its financial statements for the quarter ending September 2011 profits of 16 per cent that is Rs 96.8 million after taxation.

On October 13, Shell Mauritius Limited made part of its intention to transfer a total of 21,991,689 shares representing 75 per cent of its share value to a new company, namely Vivo Energy Mauritius, which is the newly revealed corporate brand of Shell.
