Along with the launch of the CBD equipped version, the company has also introduced a new colour option for the Suzuki Access 125 Special Edition.
Combined Braking System or CBS acts as a link between the front and rear brakes. It enables operation of both brakes through the front left lever helping distribute brake force between both ends. Under certain conditions, CBS helps reduce the braking distance. The front end gets either a disc brake or a drum brake, while the rear gets a drum brake.
The Suzuki Access 125 is powered by a 124 cc single cylinder engine with air cooling. It develops 8.7 PS at 7,000 rpm and 10.2 Nm torque at 5,000 rpm. The engine paired with a CVT. The scooter is 1,870 mm long, 655 mm wide, 1,160 mm tall, and rides on a 1,265 mm long wheelbase. It has a seat height of 733 mm and a kerb weight of 101 kg. It gets telescopic fork at the front and a swing arm suspension at the rear.
Features of the Suzuki Access Special Edition include a leatherette seat cover, special edition logo next to the badge, round-shaped chrome rear view mirrors, and a different colored floorboard. The latest colour edition adds a Metallic Sonic Silver shade with a beige coloured leatherette seat. It get black alloy wheels as well. The existing colour schemes include Metallic Matte Black with a black floorboard, black alloy wheels, and a red leatherette seat and Pearl Mirage White with a brown floorboard and red leatherette seat cover.

The company is confident that the addition of CBS to the Access and the new special edition colour will help attract more customers to the scooter. SMIPL's other mass market products include the Suzuki Let's, Suzuki Intruder, Suzuki Hayate, and the Suzuki Gixxer and Suzuki Gixxer SF.
