Tax Fraud on Import of Two Porsche: Two Arrests

The Returning Resident , Muneshwar Mudhoo, and called Sakib Rajabally Ramjee were arrested by the Central CID [CCID] Wednesday, 18 September in the wake of the investigation into allegations of tax evasion around the import of two Porsche.
These two cars, imported on behalf of Sakib Rajabally Ramjee, have been under-invoiced.
The two suspects are accused of temporarily hatched a conspiracy to commit fraud against the Mauritius Revenue Authority.
The police had objected to their release on parole, they were detained.
The CCID seized two Porsches in the afternoon. Sakib Rajabally Ramjee has retained counsel Nadim Hyderkhan.
