Tesla Model 3 Spotted In The Wild
Though we've seen the new Tesla Model 3 sitting on stage, this is our first glimpse at the new electric sedan out in the wild.

Captured on Maxella Avenue in Los Angeles, this new Tesla appears to be starring in a commercial or promo film, judging by the rig attached to the Model S in front of it.

With both of them pictured side by side and in a similar shade of silver, it's easy to see the differences between the two. The new 3 has a tauter profile than the longer S. The grille treatment is also very different, helping even the casual observer distinguish one from the other.

The fourth model from Tesla follows the Roadster, Model S sedan, and Model X crossover, promising to bring electric propulsion to the masses. The Model 3 is slated to carry a $35,000 sticker price, where the Model S starts at $75k (before incentives and delivery). With a relatively more accessible cost of entry, customers have been pouring in with their $1,000 (refundable) deposits. More expensive versions will be offered, but first Elon Musk and company will have to reach their target of commencing deliveries by the end of next year.
