These Are The First Photos From The First Episode Of Clarkson, Hammond and May's 'The Grand Tour'
Summer 2017 is set to be a big one for Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.

The trio are traveling around the world filming for their new show, "The Grand Tour." The first stop was Johannesburg, South Africa, and while that episode hasn't aired yet we do have a few photos from the taping to share. The shots were released on the show's Facebook page and show a very different scene from what we're used to. For starters, the aircraft hangar studio set is gone and in its place is a giant tent.

Inside the tent the setup looks a bit similar to the old news segment from "Top Gear," with the trio sitting at a table surrounded by audience members. But remember that James May said the new show was ditching studio segments altogether. So does that mean the guys will just sit around a table watching their latest adventure with the audience members, occasionally cutting in to crack a joke or introduce a new part of their film? Either way the new format sounds intriguing. We especially like the traveling tent and what looks to be a window out of it. This should provide for breathtaking views as each episode switches set locations as the guys travel the globe.
