These BMW Bikes Will Make You Drool
Evened hardened car guys will be able to appreciate this stunning pair of two-wheelers.

No, these two extraordinary looking bikes haven’t come from the set of the new Mad Max movie. In fact, they are the work of two Japanese custom shops, and are both based on the BMW K 1600 GTL that comes powered by a 1.65-liter straight-six engine. The unique two-wheelers were created as part of the BMW Motorrad Japan’s Ignite Straight Six project, and as you can see the transformation from the original is astonishing. Even as guy cars, you have to appreciate just how cool these bikes look.

Keiji Kawakita from Hot-Dock Custom-Cycles is responsible for the “Juggernaut,” which uses a skeleton of aluminum tubing to widen the bike’s chassis and boasts some sweet military-style instruments. Kenji Nagai of Ken’s Factory has created “Ken’s Factory Special,” using handmade aluminum front forks to give it a distinctive chopper look, a 23-inch front wheel and 20-inch rear, aluminum covers for the fuel tank, radiator and handlebars, and low-positioned aluminum seat replacing the stock rear sub-frame and seat.
