This Tuned BMW M4 Convertible Has 700 HP And Our Complete Attention
German tuning company G-Power has been modifying and boosting cars since the 1980s, which makes them a little more straightforward and subtle in their approach compared to some flashier competitors.

G-Power already has a wild upgrade package for the current G82 generation of the BMW M4 coupe, which throws a wall of carbon fiber at the car along with engine upgrades and interior goodies. Now, the company has taken the top off and will offer a G83 convertible version, boasting supercar performance in a rather subtle package.

The new G-Power G4M Bi-Turbo convertible was recently posted to the tuner's social channels. In the pictured configuration, the donor M4's 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six gas engine has been remapped to a whopping 700 horsepower, up from 480 to 530 horses normally, along with 627 lb-ft of torque. However, G-Power's website also lists a few other "Bi-Turbo" setups, including outputs of 620, 670, or 720 horsepower. The claimed top speed for the most powerful setup reaches a ridiculous 205 mph for a convertible.

Interestingly, the social posts from G-Power for this convertible G4M Bi-Turbo claim it only makes 700 horsepower, which isn't an upgrade level listed on its website. It's possible it's the same as the coupe's "720" setup, just with changes for the different convertible body.

Other Goodies Included
The website says the G4M Bi-Turbo package also includes a Deeptone stainless-steel exhaust setup with carbon fiber tailpipes. There are forged 20- or 21-inch wheels available with Michelin rubber, a Venturi hood replacement, and a carbon rear wing. The company promises the mods are completely street legal. There are also swaths of carbon fiber throughout the interior, with a special carbon steering wheel with integrated LEDs as an option.

You have the option of leaving exterior carbon panels exposed or painted, and it looks like you aren't stuck with the orange wheels in the images if you want something a little less flashy. The car naturally comes adorned with plenty of reminders that G-Power has had their hands on it, with a unique orange engine cover, replacement badging of the traditional BMW roundels, and little marques throughout the cabin and on the usual trunklid spots.

But It Ain't Cheap
Pricing for the lowest G4M Bi-Turbo 620 tune and setup will set you back at least $30,000 for the upgrade alone, converting from Euros to US currency. The 670 pack is $34,750, and the big 720 tune pack is a whopping $41,500. Once you factor in approximately $85,000 to buy the actual car, the total price jumps in a hurry. But again, you're getting supercar performance figures in a classic BMW convertible package, which is probably amazing to listen to, and more importantly, amazing to drive.

If you don't want any of the three available so-called "Bi-Turbo" packs, you can also mix and match other upgrades as you see fit. G-Power offers tunes at various levels, including outputs of 600, 650, and 700 horsepower. Finally, there's a very orange full-leather interior upgrade package on the site, though it suspiciously says that pricing is inquiry only, so it's more likely a very custom affair tuned to the tastes of the customer.
