Toyota C-HR By Karl Lagerfeld Features Fashionable, Two-Tone Style
Toyota works with the fashion brand to create a compact crossover with lots of style.

Toyota of Thailand partners with famous fashion brand Karl Lagerfeld for an haute couture special edition of the C-HR. The chic take on the crossover features a two-tone black-and-white color scheme on the interior and exterior. Prices in Thailand for the stylish model start at 1,219,000 Thai baht ($37,686 at current exchange rates).

The Toyota C-HR by Karl Lagerfeld Limited Edition's exterior uses Pearl White elements for the pillars, roof, mirror caps, front bumper lip, side skirts, rear spoiler, and lower rear bumper trim. There's also a white decal running underneath the side windows that as a Karl Lagerfeld emblem above the rear fenders. The rest of the outside is black, including the 17-inch wheels.

Inside, the dashboard gets a white stripe with Karl Lagerfeld branding. The shoulder portions of the leather-upholstered seats are also white.

Buyers also get a variety of accessories with the C-HR by Karl Lagerfeld branding. They include a piece of luggage, a handbag, a hat, and a keychain.

The C-HR by Karl Lagerfeld appears to be a creation specifically by Toyota's office in Thailand, so don't expect to see the posh version elsewhere. The two-tone color scheme is rather attractive, but all of the Lagerfeld branding makes the vehicle rather ostentatious.

In the United States, Toyota just updated the C-HR for the 2020 model year. Revisions to the grille, headlights, and front bumper gave the crossover a slightly different look. The company also added the new exterior color choices Supersonic Red and Hot Lava Orange. Inside, the infotainment system gained Android Auto and Amazon Alexa compatibility, in addition to the previous Apple CarPlay.
