Being the sportier variant, the TRD Sportivo gets a bold body kit that comprises of new bumper design with sculpted features and 3-part intake, 20-inch TRD black alloy wheels, TRD Sportivo badge on the tailgate, TRD door sills and chrome TRD muffler. The only exterior colors available are White Pearl CS and Attitude Black Mica, both featuring a matte black roof and pillars.
Inside, the new Fortuner TRD Sportivo features a dual-tone black and red leather upholstery with contrast red stitching, dark silver trim on the dashboard and steering wheel, faux carbon fiber trim in certain areas, TRD push start system, TRD instrument cluster, T-Connect infotainment system with 7-inch touchscreen, JBL audio system and TRD floor mats.
The Fortuner TRD Sportivo is only available with a 2.8-litre 1GD-FTV turbo-diesel engine producing 177 PS (130 kW) and 450 Nm. It is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission with Sequential Shift and Paddle Shifters, as well as a 4WD system. The TRD variant also gets a special suspension package and braking kit.
