Toyota Supra leaks in Japanese magazine ahead of Geneva debut
This week, we finally saw a teaser for the long-awaited MKV Toyota Supra. The car is set to make its debut next month at the Geneva Motor Show.

We don't know whether this will be the production version or just a concept. Thanks to the people at the Supra MKV forum, we now have leaked images from Japan's Best Car Magazine that appear to show the new car. As expected, the car draws heavily from the Toyota FT-1 concept from more than 4 years ago.

Of course, it's difficult to say whether these are official, and Toyota is unlikely to comment. Comparing the rear of the car to the rear of the shadowy teaser shows the two vehicles appear to be the same. Best Car Magazine shows two vehicles, a road-going version and a GTE-spec race car. There are a few specs listed, too, including a 335 horsepower rating. Again, we don't know what's under the hood, but expect six-cylinder power of some sort.

The car is being co-developed with BMW and will share a good number of parts from the upcoming BMW Z4. There's even talk of using a BMW inline-six rather than a Toyota V6. Don't get your hopes up for a manual, either. Click through to the forum to see more, and stay tuned next month for the full breakdown from Geneva.
