The Toyota Yaris is 4.2 metre-long, 1.7 metre-wide and 1.5 metre-tall. It has a 2.6-metre wheelbase. On the outside, the Toyota Yaris features projector headlamps with LED light guiding, LED DRLs, 15-inch alloy wheels, wraparound tail lamps with LED light guiding and shark-fin antenna.
Toyota has equipped the Indian-spec version with a beige-black interior to make it look elegant and rich. Power driver's seat, automatic climate control, roof-mounted air vent with ambient illumination, touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and 4.2-inch MID are some more of the sedan's interior highlights. Key safety and driver assistance features include 7 airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, front and rear parking sensors, rear camera, Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
Toyota will offer the Toyota Yaris in India with only a 1.5-litre Dual VVT-i petrol engine. This engine should deliver 105 bhp and 140 Nm of torque. It will send power to the wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission. The market launch of the Maruti Ciaz rival is said to take place in April this year.
