Two Buses NTC Catch Fire in the Street
The maintenance of buses of National Transport Corporation [NTC] is questioned again. Two buses of the NTC were engulfed in flames this Friday, June 7

The first case occurred in Little River. The thirteen year old bus was carrying a dozen passengers and headed for Port-Louis. The bus was completely destroyed by fire. No injuries is deplorable,  passengers were evacuated in time.

Almost similar situation in New France  where a bus heading towards Souillac NTC was destroyed by fire around 13 hours. It is counted no injuries. The bus, according to the director of the NTC, Robin Soonarane, suffered minor damage.

In both, we learn, is a short circuit that would be the cause of these fires.

Interviewed by Radio Plus, Robin Soonarane announces an investigation has been launched to establish the circumstances in which these two buses caught fire.
