USS Eisenhower Crew Spoofs Star Wars: Episode VII Teaser Trailer
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set to be inarguably one of the biggest films of 2015. Slated to hit theaters on December 18, the film is the start of a new trilogy and has been the subject of marketing tie-ins both logical and inane.

As with any big cultural event, there have also been parodies, ranging from Saturday Night Live to this clip, produced by a crew aboard the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower.

The video is a remake from the earliest Episode VII teaser trailer, and is matched up more or less perfectly. It's a pretty entertaining interpretation of the trailer, replacing stuff from the trailer with stuff from the US Navy. Ocean waves stand in for the sands of the planet Jakku, while the Millennium Falcon and super-cute droid BB-8 are replaced with an F/A-18 Hornet and a mop bucket, respectively. Yes, a mop bucket.

You can check out the clip from the Ike's crew at the top of the page, while we've embedded the original Star Wars trailer below, for comparison's sake. Have a look now, before Disney's lawyers catch wind of the former and pull it off YouTube.
