Video: Wrong Way for Freeway Racer
A driver has been caught on camera racing the wrong way down a highway in Glasgow, Scotland.

Two friends travelling to Glasgow captured the incident on a mobile phone after spotting a Renault driver hurtling along a rain-soaked highway.

The video uploaded to YouTube shows how a Renault travelling at a claimed 123km/h, was forcing terrified motorists to swerve out the way.

What on earth?

One of the friends who captured the video said: "Suddenly we spotted this guy tearing past us - on the opposite side of the carriageway. My pal got his phone out and started filming him. We couldn't believe what we were seeing.

"Cars coming towards him were scattering all over the road, flashing their lights and blasting horns. But he didn't seem too bothered. We beeped the horn and put the window down but all he did was look over and wave, then speed up," he said.

Authorities are searching for the offending driver. Was it an emergency? A crazy bet gone wrong? Either way it was a reckless act that endangered the lives of several drivers.
